Hi guys,
Both the driver's side and passengers side front power windows on my '98 seem to be out of alignment. When I go to roll down the window it seems to get ****ed in the track and roll down very slowly.

I'm guessing it's just a broken or lose retainer clip of whatever is used to physically attach the window to the track. Before I open it up and inspect, has anyone had this problem before? Is there an easy fix or part I need to order ahead of time before I remove the door panels?

I have a similar issue with my driver's side power window, but have found that when it rains or snows (so when it gets wet), it runs smoother as it should.

So maybe they just need to be lubed...

Pretty common that the glass has come loose from the power window assembly. Eventually happens to all the doors, drivers just happens to get used more often. Pull the door skin and glue back in place with a little silicon caulk. While there spray some lithium grease on the scissor tracks. Cost less than $5 for a nice permanent fix.
