Fix for smelly AC?

I thought I read something somehere about a product you spray in the cowl vents to clean up the duct smells.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I bought some stuff at Napa to use on my GF's Avalon. I don't remember the exact brand, but they knew what I was looking for at the parts counter and told me where it was. It was about $7 for a small can. You can spray it into the cowl vents from outside or into the AC vents from inside. I did both. It seemed to help, at least for a while.

You can use lyson (disenfecent). Turn the AC on high recirc, windows open, then spray into the defrost vent on the dash20 to 30 seconds is usually enough. You will do the same with a commercially available product.

^ Will work fine. Most of the disinfectants sold specifically for auto A/C are stronger than Lysol (not Lyson : ), but the Lysol will work.
