flap, flap,..... this is annoying...

The outside door handle on my 91 is loose and going down the road it flaps. It is really getting annoying and I'd like to fix it. Has anyone done this? I'd tend to believe it must have a return spring or something that pulls it tight against the door to keep it from flapping. The handle works fine other than that. Thanks.

There was a post about this a long time ago. Try a search but the thread may have been lost while switching BB software. If I remember right, it is not an easy fix but I could be rong.

You could always go "Dukes of Hazzard." Just whip the handles off, roll the windows down, and weld the door shut!

Yeah, but the doors of the General Lee weren't 4 feet off the ground. LOL.... and damn if I'd try the 'hood slide'. ...ouch!
