I have 2000 XLT that had been in frontal crash w/ air bag deployment.
All sheet metal has been fixed. I have also replaced the following SRS parts( with parts from salvage yard - all parts were pulled from cars with no frontal damage or air bag deployments):
2 front impact sensors
SRS computer ( located behind right front kick panel)
2 air bags
clockspring ( tested for 100% continuity across all wiring circuits)
2 air bag retainers/ horn wiring pieces inside steering wheel
I disconnected the battery and re installed everything.
I am still getting Air Bag / SRS LFC 19. I read someplace that this may be clockspring, so I installed another ( also checked for 100% continuity).
Reinstalled everything and still getting LFC code 19.
What do I need to check next. Can anyone confirm what exactly the LFC code 19 means for me and how to proceed?
Thanks
Guy
