Im considering getting an explorer & Im not sure what year , but really prefer not to get the IRS model.
Anyways the wife had an explorer before she met me & really liked it so now I'm shopping around for another car for her & started out wanting a Volvo V70 or Subaru outback, I liked the fact that they are lower than an suv in turn giving better handling & vision for parking & etc.
Yet also think when we go out on camping trips I might want something to tow behind our camper to take trips, we just came back from a trip to Az & found having to pack up our camp to go see the site was somewhat a pain...
So there comes in the thought of flat towing.
Seems the Volvo & subi are not good for flat towing & I don't want to haul it on a trailer, thats for the toys.
So this got me thinking Explorer ( Being she loved her last one ) or maybe a Jeep Cherokee or maybe a Toy 4 runner....
Anyways I figured telling you guys this might help me lock the rig to buy & help me start my focus on what year & such to look for.
& yes it has to be an SUV or Wagon being we have a dog & I want the dog to ride in back kept away from the driver & other people in the car/truck.
