Flat Towing and X with and X

I think I have decided I don't thing I am going to try it. Byt the time I get it rigged for towing that's a good $150. I think I 'll save it and maybe check the rental places for trailers. If I decide I want to tow it I'll invest in a trailer eventually. thanks guys

Try Penske then. My parents towed their minivan from Detroit to Florida on a car hauler from them (they towed it with a box truck with furniture). No problems, and weight is probably close to that of the Ex Sport.

How much for the dealer to install the neutral switch? That would be cool to have a Neutral Switch, and do the other mod for 2 wheel drive/2 hi/2 low. Even though I'd prefer an Atlas.

If I keep drving this other X, I may look into a trailer in the spring. The weight limits on all the rental trailers are too low. So oh well. If I break down I'll just have to go back for it. But once I go solid axle I really want to be able to tow it. Just got to find a place to park the trailer.... Maybe leave it at work. Not a big issue for me anymore, but one day I would like to do it.

I flat towed my 68 Chevy across 2 states with my old 95 XLT. It was the manual too, and it did just fine.
I actually thought that it towed very well, I used one of those bars that chains to the vehicle being towed and goes to the towing vehicles ball hitch.
I am pretty sure that my 6800 pound Chevy weighs more than any X you would be towing.

Just my thoughts.

Buy an H&H tiltbed like this one.
