Flip Key Question

Hey guys,

I'm looking at this "flip key" or "combo remote/key" on eBay:

I love the idea and have seen a couple other threads on this site about this topic but have yet to find an answer to my question: Since the key portion is rotated 90-degrees axially, will it still fit in my ignition lock cylinder? I'm worried the black "shield" will prevent the key from being inserted fully:

I'm in the same boat as you. I was excited to get one since my key ring has so much on it. Saw a review on Amazon and it said that it wouldn't work since you have that shroud that covers some of the key. You have to have it an ignition flush with everything for those to work. Was so bummed out when I saw that. There may be one out there with a longer key shaft. If you find one please share.
