Any three ton really. I have both a Craftsman and a Powerbuilt. Both will reach 25". I have also 4 and 6 ton jack stands. You could get a jack and stands for less than $150 if you watch for sales.

I bought my floor jack at Sams Club for 55 bucks. It is a 3.5 ton, and is one of the highest quality ones I have seen besides the 300+ dollar ones. It is much better than the Craftsmens and etc that run 150. Just something to look into. Its an Allied brand.
Jack Stand wise, I dont know if you have Northern Tool Stores around you, but you can buy nice 6 ton stands that lift like 26 inches, and they are only like 30 bucks a pair. They arent name brand, but they do the job for the money.

Keep your eye out, and look for quality with a decent price.

Get some lincoln or otc stuff. Seems to hold up pretty good. Yeah, I hate being under a 4500lb truck with el cheapo stands and a jack that doesn't go down smooth.

Amen to the Sams solution for a hydraulic jack.

I have both a Craftsman and one that I acquired from Sams. Both are good but when I need only one, out comes the one bought at Sams. Both work very smoothly and have greater substantial capacity.

If memory serves me correctly, the Sams jack has more capacity and cost half what I paid for the Craftsman.

Exactly my point, I think its a nice jack for the money. My buddy and I each have one, his has been used ALOT, and it still works perfect. We've both had them about 3 or 4 years.
