Things look real good for the 13th doing a pre-run. But - one little snag i have yet to get over... It's Mother's Day! Well - maybe breakfast in bed will take care of that. Still trying to get her to come up for the pre-run. I know my kids would have a blast...

Whatever buddy..I told you before, your the one doing the driving...And while I have your attention.I turned in the B&W film of the forest and they told me 1 wk to get processed..Does this make any sense to anyone?? Color prints over night, b&w 1 wk..Thats crazy....

Man that place looks great Mike! I hope theres some mud though, what with there being no rain and all..Its cool though..At least I know I wont sink..he he By the way I may be in Deltona again this thursday, If all those trails are seriously legit, I may go spend a day mapping them out...Who knows it might be worth a future run?....Later...

I read a mag once where they took a rental, installed a bunch of performance parts(including a blower), ran the Sh*t out of it, then took it all back off and returned the car!

Sounds like fun to me!

nahh, i didnt want an escort, i wanted the focus wagon!!! hey whatever, i aint paying for it. this dealer is kissing my a$s since my car is crap. but then again, i am 6'5" and stuffing myself in a neon which within its 107 mile age has already seen some off road action. i was racing rally cars while playing Grand Turismo 2 this afternoon and that gave me all kinds of whacky ideas.

Back from the pre-run..5hrs in the dirt..30 miles covered..We may have covered a 1/3 of the trails..Between the 2 of us, we used 4 rls of film..So pics will follow..Jon covered MOST of the trails in 2wd, so you stockers won't have any problem..Only 1 whoops, but I'll let Jon tell that story..lol..

Had a ball today! Can't wait for the June run!

The whoops was me popping out a rocker panel - the nerfs I have aren't meant for offroad - no damage to the nerfs, but they need to go in favor of HERCULINER on the rockers! I also learned that open differentials SUCK A$$ bigtime! How many people do you know get stuck with 2 wheels on the ground?

Bent the rocker coming out from behind a wash and dried-up mud - real tight - I was riding on the letters on the sidewalls at one point. I think Mike got some pics. We both failed trying to get up a sand/clay hill - buried the tires way deep.

Anyhow - It will be a blast in June - we can take over the entire campground - looking forward to it!

Well I just got back from over by the intercoastal a couple miles from my house, had some fun in the beach sand/mud...Gave my new shocks a workout.Atleast I had a little fun today, I had to get out after hearing about you guys gettin off in the woods...Now gotta go rinse off the salt water...Lates
BTW Jon sorry to hear about the rockers, but a nice coat of herculiner will look sweet...I was thinking about some herculiner and a strip of diamond tread on my rockers...maybe next week...

Hey guys - I got the pics back, but haven't scanned them in yet. Mike - great shot of your truck trying to get up the sand hill. And the one of me stuck spinning on the berm came out good too!. I'll get them scanned and posted here soon. Hank is out of town until next Saturday, so I don't see them getting on before then (unless Hank emails me instructions on how to change)
