Flowmaster Super 40 Series

I was told about these yesterday. I did some research, after looking at thier web site I was sold. I called my local exhaust shop, has them order one, installed it today. All I can say is Nice, real nice. It has a very deep tone. Much deeper than the 50 delta. Very low interior resonasance. Comparable to the 40 delta. The bumped up the casing size, included the delta design. This thing does sound great. Thier was also a noticeable increase in throttle response. \

did u have them put new pipe in? did u get dual or single? and how much did it cost?

I noticed a t 70-75 mph there was no more drone than when the 50 delta was on. I kept the same pipes 2.5". It cost me $120 installed. I stinks like a **** though. Holy cow does it sound nice.

My folks are wanting to buy me a birthday present, and I figured this would probably do it BUt I was wondering if it would be worth getting the whole kit with the Super 40 or just getting the muffler and having the muffler shop run the pipe?

Get the muffler and have a local shop WELD the new pipes for you.

hmm.. nice and deep huh?

I've never cared for my magnaflow ever sense I put the resonator on there, before the burble and sound at idle and low blips of the throttle were awesome, but the resonance was killer... maybe i'll look into this

I'm going to see if I can get a sound clip. I don't know how I'll do it.... I wonder if there is sofware for PDA.

Maybe you can find something for recording with a pda here. pda software. I know about recording software but I don't know anything about PDA's
