Hey.
I have a 1998 Explorer XLT with the SOHC 4.0L V6 and I want to install a Flowmaster Force II exhaust kit. Will I get a something like the famous Flowmaster sound or am I holding me breath. :exporange

The sound will definately be different than stock.

The SOHC can yield varying results with aftermarket mufflers. Use the search function using "Flowmaster" and "SOHC" and you'll see.

Does the SOHC have Dual inlet to the muffler or coverter?

how would I go about avoiding the ricer sound and getting a deep sound with the package I listed earlier?
