Flowmasters

Within the next week or so I'm going to have Flowmaster Exhaust put on my '03 Sport Trac. My question is this: Which flowmaster series is going to allow me to get the best sound? I'm looking for as deep and as throaty of a sound as you can get out of a V6.

Bleh.. use the "search" feature, flowmaster has been beat like a dead horse so much, you'll be able to find everything you'd ever want to know on it.

I heard the "super 40" series has the original tone with a nice deep sound and not much of interior resonance.

Again, just search the forums.

Me too, I really hoped to have it on by friday but that didn't work out . Atleast I have time to pick out and order a nice tip now though. Hopefully I won't have to cancel the MO and send another

They got my MO finally, Scheduled delivery is the 25th.
But I already ordered an exhaust tip from jegs so now I gotta wait for that to get here lol

Well no go, I got no cooperation from them today "Omni" the guy said I couldn't have the pipes replaced to 2.5 becuase he couldn't make a bend or two and that it would come to close to the right rear shock (bullshit). Then he wanted to just weld the tip and the muffler on! Hahaha no thanks!

Thye should of told me that when I went down there yesterday just to make sure.

So now I'm calling around...

I hate that! I talked to a place that said they'd do duals for like $160-170 then I go there because I want to be sure because I didn't want to get my stuff go there and be surprised. One guy looked at it for a while which was more than other places did and said 250-300. I thought they'd maybe cut me a break because they had NO business. But they didn't. What kind of tip is that? Is it normal chrome look? Is that just the light on it making it look dark?
