fluid and filter changes

Just bought a 94 xlt, runs fine; would like to ask any\everybody about getting the oil changed. Ford dealer or does it matter? Also, what about getting the a/t flushed?

for oil, it doesnt matter.... but should be done about every 3-5k miles

tranny flushed every other year, and every in between year should have the filter replaced.....

I would go with whatever is recommended in the owners manual. Probably 10W30 for the temp range that you usually drive in.
