Fluids & capacities 2008 Exp.

I have ordered a 2008 explorer XLT v8/4x4 and would like to know what are the fluid capacities and recommended fluids for the engine and drive train - I want to change all fluids to synthetic. I have not been able to find any of this info anywhere on the internet. This is my first post.

Your owner's manual should give you the info.

6 qts. oil. Just under 2 qts. rear diff. Don't change the tranny. Don't know on the front, as mine's 2WD.

Agreed, that's where I found it all when I did the oil in my '08.
