Hello all. Purchased my 02 XLT in February. It had some front end damage and all the pieces were not replaced. It did not come with factory fogs. I would like to add some fog/driving lights and would like some suggestions. Here is what I have to work with. Thanks.

I would use the Hella FF3000 of Jumbo 320FF as a fog light in the OEM fog positions. Perhaps some black channel molding to go around the openings to trim them out. JC Whitney has the molding. Bigger the better when it comes to lights. So fit the largest light you can in the openings.
For driving lights, I like them behind the grill (as you probably noticed). PIAA, Hella, KC Highlites, ProComp. Ect. are all good. Round or rectangular would look good. It's all in what you can fit in there as to the size. I would use "driving" as opposed to "spot" lights.
Putting your driving lights below the bumper is sort of a waste as the light really doesnt shine out near as far as when they are above the bumper.
Fogs below -- driving above.

Bill, thanks for the tips. I have had the grill out to replace the temp sensor and thought about lights behind there. The molding sounds like a great idea. Any idea how to get the broken green piece surrounding the grill off?

No idea. Just start taking things apart?
Ask on the Body Work forum. Some one should know.

Bill, I hate to be a PITA but I looked on the JC Whitney website and couldn't find the molding you spoke of. I must admit I really don't know what I'm looking for. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks. :salute:

Go to JCWHITNEY and search for "Fairchild trim". Its from Fairchild Industries. It is a U shaped trim for interior/exterior.
