fog lights

I just installed a 1999/2000 bumper on my 1997 mounty and i wanna figure out how to use the fog lights. I attempted to put my 97 fog bulbs in and it didnt fit and i went to buy the ones supposably for a 2000 explorer and they wouldnt work with my wiring. any advice on what to do?

Go to a salvage yard and get the pigtails from a 2000, splice that in.

decided to go DDM hids but im still confused on what bulbs go in the 2000 fog lights, if anyone can shed some light. i think there h1

first off, the reason your 97 bulbs dont work is they are a 899 bulb, and the 99+ takes an H1

Now, while you do need an H1, they wont just plug in. They use that adapter ring that the bulb sits into, so you need to mod it to make it work like so

oh i know they wont fit i just wanted to know for sure.. I talked to the guys at DDM earlier and they told me i need a t top or something to adapt the 899 to h1. Im not to savvy with wires and electronics so im just gonna wing it lol. thanks for input.
