I think I am in trouble now. Get ready for peak mileage competitions. :p

My dads old LTD had a computer that did this same thing. My brother and I competed to see who could get it to go the highest.
Another fun one is to see who can get the miles to empty the lowest without running out of gas.

Losing that one would be bad for the fuel system (filter, injectors, etc.) :p

Monmix, let us get few things worked out here # 1 there is no such thing as an ODB port, such a thing do's not exsist, as you keep making mention of.
# 2 , if everyone knows what the ODB port is, than perhaps they do not realize that the proper name is an OBD port.
ODB do's not exsist as you refer to, not being pissy, but the correct info would be best

Good grief Spidlecone, were you on the debate team in high school ?

Read this thread top to bottom. You were the first to use the phrase OBD port. You used it to make a claim that was untrue that said port did not recieve tranny temp information. All I did was clarify, that in fact this information was in fact sent to this connector. As I can prove by attaching my scan tool to the connector and reading the transmission tempture.

I further went on to inform both you and other readers that wile OBD port is a qute acceptable name for this connector DLC is the actual technical term.

Further more spelling errors are just that errors.
( I gotcha' now Mr. Trouble maker ;) )
