this has been on a thread before, but i found something else. go download WinMX software. it's great. for downloading mp3's, etc. another file sharing software pretty much. but it gets better... after getting that search google for NapMX. its a companion software that gets a list of all the servers and sends the server list to WinMX, which means more stuff for you to clog up your hard drive with. you have to download NapMX off of zdnet, because the parent website is down for some reason. well sharing the good news for all you peeps out there. have fun, and happy downloading!!!

I already use WinMX, and I'm pretty satisfied with it. But it seems like I can only log onto one server, and if I could change servers, I don't know how to do it. Does this NapMX allow me to choose the server I am logging onto, or does it pick the fastest reponding one, or what?? How exactly does WinMX operation change after NapMX is installed?

operation of winmx doesn't change when you use napmx. the only thing that changes is the amount of servers you can log onto. right now i'm on 32 different servers, all at once. that means i get much more music each time i do a search. you have to manually log into each server after you import the server list from napmx to winmx, but you get the list automatically which is super good.
