Any update?

Haven't had hubs installed yet...it goes to another dealer on Monday for this clicking now when backing up pretty quickly...very loud clicking actually..then when going forward a few clicks...i am assuming it's related to my roughness issue but not sure what would click in reverse that wouldn't as much going forward?

So i am getting a new PTU. They heard the clicking..thought it was drive axle..wasn't...think it's a PTU issue.

They said they felt a bit of roughness on the pedal and think it's possibly related..when know when it's installed

PTU is what?

Power Transfer Unit for the AWD, I believe. Sometimes they replace the seals, sometimes the whole unit. Hopefully the whole unit with issues fixed from the original.

Ya entire unit being replaced

Update...got the truck back...still didn't fix it. Said on the paperwork that it fixed the pedal feel but nope. So i have to call back tomorrow. The put a vibration device on the pedal and was reading a lot it says...so it will still read a lot at least this next time

At least they know/knew there was an issue however rather then saying "feels fine"

Also still does clicking when backing up and when pulling out of a parking spot going left at a good pace....

I am still convinced the clicking and issues are the hubs, bad huds do exactly what you describe.

i still have the hubs i ordered in the garage..havent had my guy put them on yet..maybe in a week or two i will if i get time.

I know this will get fixed..just frustrating

The dealer is being very good...they said to give them a weeks heads up when i bring it in and they will put me in an explorer loaner rather then a focus due to the issues i am having since i may be without a car for another week or two if more has to be replaced. So far they have been great...aside from saying the problem was fixed when it wasn't.

But i mean it ended up being like 10 hours of labor so it's no picnic for them but they do get paid
