For those of you with Satellite Radio, which unit do you have?

Hey everyone. After seeing the thread about satellite radio it got me thinking. my dad is really looking to get this but he wants a protable unit...or whatever you would call it. one that isnt hardwired into his car. He has an 03 eddie bauer explorer and wants to be able to use it in the car, house and i assume before too long, the boat. what all does this entail? does he just need like a docking station (or whatever you may call it) in the car and in the house or can you just use something like an iTrip plus an ac or dc adapter? any feed back welcome
