Did you have to do anything special with the shock mounting? I just tried to bolt the bottom of my shock on and discovered that the radius arm has a slight twist in itwhich hits my shock and wont let it mount into the shock bracket on the radius arm.

Nope, I used the hardware that came with the Radius Arms and had no issues. I can snap some pics later if need be, but their nothing special ;)

Hmmmm......well I got replacement radius arms and when I remounted the old shock mounts to the new arms the top of the arm and the shock hit. The shock already had a flat spot from the previous arms. The shock bottom was at least 1.5" away from the radius arm and already hitting on the top of the radius arm.

Get me a pic if you can and when I do the other side I will post some pics for comparison.

Well here is a paint drawing to help

Ok so here is what it looks like the top of the shock is mounted to the dual shock bracket and the bottom of the shock is mounted to the outside of the superlift shock mount.

I am going to run it by my local 4x4 shop to see if they have some ideas for the stock shock mounting location or why it doesn't fit.

The new arms come with a spacer for the shock to space it out about an inch from the rad arm it's self. The metal sleeve that goes in the poly mount on the shock is about 3" long with a washer welded in the middle to space it from the arm. I will take a pic if you don't get it figured out, cool?

Oh definitely get me a pic, sounds completely different from what I have. check my gallery out for pics

Hey man show me how to look at your gallary :)

See my cartton face with the bag below it is a link that say view my gallery in blue

Sorry man I had a brain fart :) This is what I'm talking about, and this is the best pic I could take in total darkness. You are looking at it from the bottom up.

Hmmm well in the position I have to smakc my shock in place and it is smashed up against the top of the radius arm.

Can you get me a few pics in the daylight from all angles.

Do you have those spacers in there though?

No my shock brackets from the old arms isn't wide enough the bushings just barely fit. Sounds like I need to call Superlift and get a set of these shock brackets since it is apparent from the pic that they redesigned them. Makes sense becuase my shock wants to hit the bracket dead center and with a wider bracket a spacer would definitely be needed.

Yep, I would try that and see what happens. Also why do you have the upper end of the shock mounted on the outside of the spring tower?

Ah that's my Skyjacker dual shock mount. Its for running two shocks parallel to each other.

Okay, now I see.

did you get new shock mounts for the radius arms or did you already have those. I don't know if you had your arms warranteed or bought the complete lift with these new arms.

I bought the whole kit all together at one time so it came with all the parts. I don't see why they didn't send you the shock mounts with the new arms.

I guess it was because I was only getting a warranty replacement on the arms. Go figure!!!
