ford explorer 1999 4x4 xlt pcm located

Hi! to everybody

I bought a ford explorer '99 XLT, and want to know the code that operates the keyless entry system, and in the owner's guide says that it is taped to the computer module, but, I dont know where the computer module is.

somebody can help me?

Open the jack compartment and look foward; there is a module there with the code on it.

yeah, when you open the jack things, look towards the rear drivers side door, and there is a box hooked to a metal bracket, the tape/code will be towards the cargo compartment side of the box. It is hard to see the code because you have to push/bend the plastic outwards. I did it and it only took 10 seconds so no big deal even though i got a long description going, good luck!
