Ford Extended Warranty

Hello, I’m new to the forum and am here to ask a specific question of you experts. I bought a used 2018 Explorer Limited with just fewer than 28K miles. I still have some miles left on the factory warranty but I would like to buy an extended warranty to last at least 3 more years and an extra 36K above what’s on it now. I did this with my GM vehicle a few years back, and found that some dealers will sell an extended warranty for less than others. I would like to stay with a Ford sponsored warranty. Any suggestions or advice. Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum.
Keep in mind that the Ford ESP warranty you purchase starts with the Explorer's "In Service" date. So a 48 month warranty will only extend the factory warranty by 12 months. As blwnsmoke mentioned there is a thread on this sub forum's first page in the 'Sticky Section'.
