I bought my Explorer last Wednesday. At the time of finishing up the paper work I added the Ford Premium Maintenance Plan along with PremiumCare.
The Maintenance Plan covers
Engine oil and filter changes
Multipoint inspections
Tire rotations
Normal Wear Item Coverage
Spark plugs
Shock absorbers
Clutch disc
Engine belts and hoses
Brake pads and linings
Wiper blades
Also my dealership said they would replace my tires when the tread measured 2/32nds up to $1000. The last few nights, I have been internally debating whether or not this is worth the plan.
I will edit the post with what I paid since I am at work and recall the numbers. Also, is it possible to cancel these? I may be more inclined to cancel the Ford Premium Maintenance Plan over the Extended Service Plan.
Just wanted to get peoples thoughts on this.
