1997 Ford Ranger
Hello!

I have a 1997 Ford Ranger that had a throwout bearing go out on it
I am a small time landscaper and haul a trailer all the time
I was interested in upgrading my clutch and was also needing to replace my transmission as well given it has about 190,000 miles on it
My questions are 1. Does anyone know any good places/Websites to get a 5 speed transmission?
2. Anyone have recommendations on what kind of ungraded clutch I should use?
3. Is there anyway I can get a upgraded throwout bearing?

Well I'm not sure about a whole transmission, but you can get new clutches from a vendor on this site, RockAuto.com. They have clutches ranging from a $100 budget clutch to a $200 OEM replacement (don't recall whether it is strengthened or better or if it is just Ford quality, I was looking at it a while ago) all of the clutch kits on that site that I saw also had new throwout bearings included.
