Normally, the people that state "Fords Suck" are individuals that are pissed because they are stuck making payments on a "Non-Ford" vehicle that they finally realized they really don't like. The other group of individuals are the ones that can't afford a new vehicle of any make. We have some friends that got suckered into one of those "Pre-Rearended" Azteks. I bought my wife a new 2001 Mustang (Zinc Yellow). They're remarks were "Ooh...I don't like the color". Our statement to them in regards to their Aztek was "That's a nice vehicle, different, but nice".

haha. i really dont know why anyone would by an aztek. the only thing cool about it in my opinion was the built in 6pack cooler. now thats convinient!

personally every time I look at a aztek I think its a ******* child of a old honda CRX and a minivan. I love fords also all my cars are ford 86 ford tempo which still runs great (college war wagon) 92 explorer 00saleen mustang they all run great why mess with a good thing. on the other hand got my ex a jeep last march and she just brought it in with major electrical problems cross sparking wires charging system goin crazy you name it it did it draw your own conclusions on that one.

I wouldnt say they suck, but I will never buy ford again. I will be getting ride of my X this summer and I will be happy when its gone. later

Yeah pretty much any Chrysler product will give you grief, and more so any damn import(see my thread "Interesting Facts") everyone is free to buy and drive what they want, and will forever have different opinions on each make. The shop I work at has four mechanics and the boss: 3 of us drive fords the boss has a ranger and an older k20 chevy and the other loser drives a Dodge. Mechanics always know not neccesarily what is best but what is the better overall, including ease of working on and quality!

In defense of the Aztek, they took the plastic off for the 02-03 models, but GM did no body changes and it's still UGLY! Gotta love those hubcaps though.

Ford has gotten rap with the Firestone thing, and that has just fueled the fire. Personally, I think that Chevy SUVs are boxy, and they look the same for every model year (with the exception of slight rounding of the corners). Don't get me started on the interior, EEK!, that's perhaps the worst part about Chevy vehicles.

While we're on the subject, does anybody see some styling similarities between the Aztek and the Avalanche and Trailblazer? LOL.
