FordPass keeps going into battery saving mode. Battery seems to be OK. Tested at 12.6 VDC when engine is shut off. Anybody have this issue?

Do you keep the doors locked at night? There is extra battery drain if they are not.

In addition to all the recommendations regarding BMS, I put my '21 Explorer battery on a NOCO GENIUS 10 - 10-Amp Battery Charger, Battery Maintainer, and Battery Desulfator every weekend for 24 hours.
So far, after 39 months, the battery is operating flawlessly.

Do an "external" charge followed by instructions in your owner's manual for external charge or battery replacement. Perhaps the BMS needs to update from a fully charged battery.

I use that same charger! It's been a great tool!\

ETA: Mine is the 5 amp version. Got that because I have several 12v systems to care for besides the cars. Smaller is better for the smaller battery's but 5 amp is still large enough to take care of a car battery well.

State of charge issues have become a major headache for dealerships, Ford Pass is one of the first things to be cut when state of charge starts to go below around 60%

On March 31st 2025 the OEM battery needed replacing. That's right at 30,000 miles and 42 months.
Purchased the recommended replacement at a local FORD dealership.
Disconnected a few of the wires from the positive terminal distribution block and that made it much easier to remove the old battery and reinstall the new one. Cable ties kept the cables clear of the battery.
A rubber tie down strap held the black plastic cowl cover up and out of the way.
Reset the BMS afterwards too. Notice the Made In Germany sticker.

My wife's one year old Edge was giving her a few bugs in the infotainment system this past week. Yep. Poor battery voltage. She only drives around town and its a 15 minute drive to and from work. Battery still tests out as good, but needs charged. It was 12.44 volts this afternoon. I washed the pollen off her car and drove it to dry it and parked up near the garage to use the outdoor plug. Got it on the 5 amp smart pulse charger now. Should be GTG by sunset. Since she is my wife, I give her full concierge car care service. ;-) Tomorrow I'll do a pollen wash on the Explorer and check its battery too. I drive less than her, so I often hook up a trickle charger to it.
