While working under the hood the other day, I dropped a bolt, and just by chance noticed that the vaccum hose that attaches to the fuel pressure regulator (if its the thing with a vacuum hose and braided line attached to it.) was disconnected. I dont know how long the vacuum line has been off, but would this have been causing it to run lean or rich?

Actually, could be both..

w/out the vacuum line the regulator would run at 40psi or so (what it should run at WOT only).. BUT with the line disconnected you are letting in unmetered air (more air than it knows about)...

Thanks for the info...I forgot about the fact that it would be creating a vaccum leak
