FREAKN' RATTLE!!!!!!

Has anyone else ever had a rattle in the sterring column? I have an 02' Sport and this rattle is driving me batty... just wondering if it is something I can fix in order to skip the whole dealership experience?
The rattle occurs while driving normal over almost any road condition... if I apply pressure to the sterring wheel it goes away..

i have a rattle / hum that comes from my steering colum and/or front tire area it sounds like ... i notice it when driving on the expressway (80+ mph) .... i have an '01 sport .. i think its just something that happens ... i've had the car forever and its always done that ... hope that helps

I have a 00 sport and I have also notied the rattle when doing 80+, not sure what it is but drives me nutty

I'm not to sure if this would help, since youre probably have an airbag, but I removed this peice which was my culprit for a rattling sterring column a while back.
