Free Performance Mods

Are there any free or do it yourself performance mods for a 94 EX? So far I have the trottle cable mod. I tried to research other mods and found some info but none of them went on to explain how. I read somewhere about doing something to the air intake box? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can drill holes in the intake box BELOW the filter. Take the box apart and drill holes in the box, not on the engine side, make sure to clean everything up before putting the box back together. Any "free" mods aren't going to do much for you.
