Front ABS sensor removal

I need to change the u-joint on the left side of my 94 Explorer. My Haynes manual makes no mention of the abs sensor. How do I remove it and any tips on removing the axle would be helpfull also.

you don't need to remove it just take out the bolt that goes through it into the spindle. Tips: just start taking everything off that comes in-between you and the u-joint

oh yeah get a dead blow hammer for hitting the spindle, you don't want to damage the threads
