Ray

I have yet to e-mail yet, cause i don't have the cash. I should have 500-600 in about 3 or 4 months though. I have to keep paying my school bills! But i am in when i get the cash!

if it takes 75 people to do this, I'll be one of them, and I'll go down and give my money(once 1 Oct rolls around, when I have the money from my re-enlistment bonus) and give it to ARB USA in person...

#7.

C5,
You are #7.
Don't do anything until we get all 75 accounted for, then we will do this, all at one time.

I also need a clarification; if it'll work for late Rangers, then will it also work for my (*******iced) Explorer Sport Trac? If it will, and I'm pretty sure I know the answer... then I'll swing by www.mysporttrac.com and fish for buyers. As for me, yes I pitifully have to get my wife's permission to drop $600... but I will watch this thread, and cash in my daughter's college IRA if I need fundage :)

Becker69,
You would think it would be the same, but better to make sure. I will ask my sources and see if infact it is the same. I should have a answer next week. Yea I know what you mean, I gotta so the same thing, but Sandy and I do a lot of bartering on stuff like this, so we generally get what we want. The only problem is who get what first. :D

Ray, Thank you for checking into it for me... I don't really have the resources to dig up that kind of a set in stone answer. I hope the answer is favorable (ie, that it will fit an Sport trac). I think my wife will give the green light on it (I could tell her that it enhances safety and blah blah blah... but I'm not that coniving). I posted a thread on the ST (Sport trac) board that I follow, but most of them wonder what "a Dana is" and is a 'locker to protect your front end from getting stolen?' In all seriousness, though... many are in the "extreme Yuppy, wanta make my SUT look cool and pretty" category. There are some that are approachable, but not most. It is a good board but not on the off-road perspective. And hell, I'm still trying to learn all that I can. Thanks, I am doing work towards giving an answer on the ARB.

I would definately be interested! When do we need to order? You said it would be around $600?

Front ARB

Yes, I WANT one. When I ordered my 99 Ranger From Fairway Ford I paid up front to have an IFS FRONT ARB. At that time ARB said it would fit. The off road shop at Fairway called me after they broke it down and showed me that it wouldn’t fit because the Dana was aluminum and smaller, the ARB was too big. (I was so bummed out because I paid extra for the L/S diff.) So now I have the factory L/S with only 8 miles on it sitting in a box. We ended up sending the front ARB back and getting the rear ARB. It works great I even got the tire inflation kit.
"To make a long story short I would love to be fully locked up."

You are #9.

MAV,
As soon as we get 75 people, then we will let Tim Lund know. He will then let me know what's gonna happen next, but since we are going to put up the money right away, we should get this thing going fairly fast, and with in a very short time, get our lockers.
Can I make you #10?

Well, then #10 it is!

#10

Well, now. Only 65 more to go. :D

Who's next?

Ray,

Maybe you can mass email all the 5000 odd members we have here and point them here. ;-) Or maybe put something on the front page? Also I know this isnt a group buy but maybe we can get a deal on the compressor also?

Soupbone,
I'll see what I can do.

No pressure at all meant for you Ray, but if we could get any kind of break on the compressor, it would help me to give a definate answer. I went by Dessert Rat here in town and they politely referred me to their other shop (on the other side of town), saying that they couldn't even estimate a install charge... as with C 5 Pewter I'm also military, and I'm trying to work out if I can work a $1000.00 upgrade (that's not a winch, He He He :) thanks, Becker.

WE NEED YOUR INFO!

We are making a critical mistake. If this drags out and some of you don't keep checking back we could lose your participation. I checked the original thread from awhile back when we tried to do this before and several members expressed interest that I don't see on this board much anymore, like Cameron and others.

I have registered ExplorerFrontARB@juno.com. I ask that each one of you that are joining in this, to email to that address and include your year/model, website name, then real name, address, phone number, and email address.

This way there will be one reference with all of the information we need, it won't get lost, and when the time comes we can have a sure means of notifying everyone.

I want to make clear that the information you send to me will ONLY be used expressly for this purpose and that I will not forward or use your personal information in any way to anyone else for any other purpose.

Thanks!
