97 explorer 5.0 on boost
i have looked and i cant find anything on this. i have a 5.0 4x4 97 expo. i was wounderin if any one has tryed to drop the front axle assy down only like an inch to help with the axles 1/2 half shafts binding with a torsion twist. i did the 4406 swop and when the 4x4 is ingauged the only thing i can do is got straight lol with out the axles binding . any help will be a great

You shouldn't have binding issues with 2" or less of height gained via TT, as far as I know. How much did you crank it up?
 






That binding is due to engaging 4wd while on dry pavement. It is not due to torsion twist, lift, or the half shaft angles. Try not to do it again or the transfer case will go boom. Only engage 4wd on slippery surfaces (off road, snow, etc)
