if you're doing the upper ball joints (both) it costs me $160. I bought the upper control arms with ball joints in rockauto.com. It's even cheaper if you just press the ball joints to the existing upper arms (around $90)
Dealers will be more since the OEM upper arm with ball joint is $360 (rockauto price, higher at the dealer) so expect at least $500. Shops that knows how to press out the old and press in the upper ball joint might charge $200-300.
they're applicable for 2002-2005. I used Mevotech (almost 2x the price of Dorman). Dorman is fine, I think it wasn't available when I checked it out last year.
