Front Ball-joint Replacment Cost

Can anyone tell me about how much it will cost to have the front ball joints replaced on my 2004 xlt?

if you're doing the upper ball joints (both) it costs me $160. I bought the upper control arms with ball joints in rockauto.com. It's even cheaper if you just press the ball joints to the existing upper arms (around $90)

Dealers will be more since the OEM upper arm with ball joint is $360 (rockauto price, higher at the dealer) so expect at least $500. Shops that knows how to press out the old and press in the upper ball joint might charge $200-300.

Are they the same on 04 as they are on 02 cause Dorman replacement control arms with bushing and balljoint are only $90+ shipping on rockauto...

they're applicable for 2002-2005. I used Mevotech (almost 2x the price of Dorman). Dorman is fine, I think it wasn't available when I checked it out last year.

Oh gotcha. Only reason I checked is cause I plan on doing mine when my truck gets back from the bodyshop!
