Front bumper question

I have been searching hi & low for a pre-runner light bar for my '97 Mountaineer but I can't find one.
Explorer Pro Comp makes one for Rangers. I contacted them and asked if the Ranger one would fit and they said as long as the bumper was the same contour it should.

James Duff makes one as well for the Ranger but when I asked them if the Ranger bar would fit my Mountaineer they said no.

So is the '93-97 Ranger bumper the same contour as the Explorer/Mountaineer?
If not where can I find a pre-runner light bar?

do the lightbars mount onto the bumper, or the frame?
if they mount onto the bumper, I'm sure you could make it fit either way.

It mouts to the bumper.
There is a guy at work with a Ranger and looking at his front bumper the only differencee I see is that the Ranger bumper is flatter where as Explorer/Mountaineer bumpers curve a little from the center but I don't see this being a major problem
