Last week I changed the ball joints on the drivers side of my 93EB for the second time in 2 months. After a couple of days I noticed a lot of oil in the parking lot at work. After getting home I found the source was the front diff seal.
I had time last night to pull everything apart. The first thing I noticed was a rubber boot on the front axe. I didn’t notice it before, but I didn’t look real close either. So I cleaned everything and reassembled. But with no luck.. After driving to work this morning the fender well was again coated in oil along with to whole underside. So I concluded the seal needs to be replaced.
I biggest concern is how hard is it to change .I have done numerous searches and not found anything on what needs to be removed to get to the old seal.
