Hi everyone,

While changing my rear universals, I noticed that my front diff is leaking fluid around the area where the front driveshaft connects to it. Anyone have any experience with leaks in this particular area ? I assume it's a seal ? Any help is greatly appreciated !!

that is the pinion seal for sure...to fix this remove the front driveshaft, tahe off the big nut, and figure out how to get the seal out...when you re-assemble,you need to torque the big nut (pinion nut) to the right amount of ft lbs....(pre load) the bearing....

Pinion seal, do what mud bug said.
Engine stop leak will work in an axle, if you seek a miracle cure.

No guarantee is expressed or implied, if leak persists see your mechanic
