Front diff

ideas on how long and hard it is to change front diff
94 exsplorer 4.0 4wd

transfer case locks in when
also hubs lock in
but no 4x4

any help will be greatful

Are you sure the hubs are locking in?

yes the hubs lock in i lock them in axels turn
there is no noise in the diff at all no grind or clatter
