I have a 2005 four door and put a comp set in the fronts, with the tweets in co-ax set-up. I put the x-overs in the doors, stuck to the inside of the outside sheet metal. I didn't really think of it at the time, but my friend said water could get in the door and get on the x-overs. I really want to keep them in the doors so I don't have to rewire, but if its going to ruin them, I'll get them out of there. Please discuss experiences or thoughts. Thanks.

water can get in there, depending on where and how you mounted them, they should be fine though

Got any pics of where you mounted them?

I still have to put the one in the drivers door in so I'll take pics of it, but its basicly straight in the speaker hole on the door skin, stuck with double sided mounting tape. I don't thinks its the best thing, but it worked for the time being. The x-overs are the elemental designs 6000 v.2, so they are a very exposed design.

Try to find some way to seal them up and you should be good. They are not able to be seen so cosmetics have no play.
