Alright guys so i have another problem. Im getting some grinding/rattle noise coming form my front Drive shaft. I linked a video below of what its doing.

Im spinning the driver side tire. Is this a serious problem or does the whole shaft need to be replaced

This is the sound i have been getting for sometime now. i thought the rattle sound was coming from my one tire sensor that broke loose and was flying around in my tire. Got new tires yesterday and i found this out. Last year i had some grinding when i put it into 4 wheel. Should have known right then :/

1. Just confirming that this is coming from the front driveshaft, not one of the CV shafts spinning wheels.
2. It sounds like the driveshaft CV joint on the transfer case side is bad. But since you will be pulling it out anyway, I would replace the front U joint as well.

Or you can just buy a whole re manufactured driveshaft. It's an 1/2 hour job to replace it.

Yes it is coming from the front driveshaft. While I had someone spinning the tire I put my hand on the end that goes to the transfer case. Was feeling alot of grinding. Yeah its covered under my warranty so not a huge deal. I'm just worried, will this mess up the transfer case?

It can mess up the output bearing. Then it will be noisy and leaking TC fluid. My rear output bearing went bad on my transfer case due to mileage, and messed up the seal and it was whining and leaking.

update

So i finally got the truck in to the shop (2 weeks ago). Turns out, it was the front drive shaft along with a few other things. 1500 repair. only paid 78 bucks :D
