I recently bought a '98 sport and while on a road trip it started making a grinding noise. Since I was out of town I didn't have any tools and a local garage was able to repair the front hub bearing assembly. The problem is after returning to my home service at the dealers ship it has been in the garage for 15 days while the mechanic searches for a front diff. Is this guy on the right path or just pullin my chain. What would cause hub bearing failure after just 200 miles. Any help would be appreciated. It only has 78,000 on the ticker.
