Front Driveshaft? Tcase?

So here is the problem. for some reason when i go around corners really sharp i hear this "pinging" from the from driveline almost like someone is tapping it. I replaced the u-joint no luck. also when i put my foot on the break and shift between drive and reverse it feels like there is alot of "slack" makes me think the tcase chain has slack in it PS i have a 2000 v8 AWD. not sure what the issue is does anyone have any ideas?

it's possible it's the chain; although mine has quite a "clunk" when shifting between D and R, and my chain was still good last I checked (and I've had the clunk for years).

as for pinging.. is it only when you turn one way? ie, it does it when you turn left, but not right?
