Front end interchangeability

Found a grill guard on Craigslist and seller says it fit his 96. I assume even with the slight cosmetic change, the front ends are close enough to being the same that this will fit my 2000 without issue?

Yes it will fit.

All Explorer Second Gen grills are interchangeable. 98+ Mountaineer grills require more work to put on.
