I've got this sort of clunking noise from the front end that you can hear and feel in the floor slightly as well. Mostly on the right side and It's only noticeable at slow speeds, 10-15mph and on smaller bumps or cracks in the road. (the initial impact clunks) So far I've put a set of Michelin LTX's on the truck, new ball joints (the lowers were toast). Uppers are tight, but the boots are cracked open. I cleaned them up and re-greased them the best I can, the joint is tight though. No play when I shake the wheels. Does anybody sell just the dust seal for that? The rack seems tight, no play in the steering components at all. A new R.F. hub assy. (Timkin) was just put in last week as well. Last night I tossed in a new set of Monroe Sensa-Tracks, the KYB GR2's were kind of stiff, ride improved slightly but the noise is still there. Brake calipers are tight, I've had the knuckle on and off the truck 2x at this point and can't see anything out of the ordinary. Sway bar links are tight, just replaced the sway bar bushings for the hell of it. Still no improvement.
Suggestions as to where to look next? Over 25-30 mph you really don't hear anything and on the highway the thing cruises really well with no noise at all. Steering is dead straight, alignment is right on. I'm at a loss here.
