Front End Noise

I've noticed in the last couple of weeks that I have a hum/whine coming from the front of my X. It sounds kind of like mudders turning on pavement. The sound doesn't start until about 25mph. I just put new brakes on the front (working great though) and it has A/t tires. Anybody had a hum in the front end of their X? Thanks.

From the sound your describing it sounds like it could be the wheel bearings.

Yeah, check your bearings right away. I've had the same mudders on pavement sound for a week or more, and today I found out what it was. Inner bearing turned to dust and ruined the spindle and hub.
That's the remnants of the bearing in the pic.

Thanks for the help...it goes in the shop today at 1pm to get the wheel bearings looked at.....before I could tell them what I thought was wrong with it, they told me "sounds like the wheel bearings".
