I had noticed a slight rattle/clunk in the front end last week, so went under there to take a look. I rotated the tie rod ends such that the body of the tie rod was parallel to the ground. It appeared that they were rocked back, making slight contact with the lower control arm area, causing a rattle/clunk at low speed. No more noises!
