'98 XLT, SOHC, Auto, 2wd, all stock, no accidents. Front end bushings have squeeked since 30k miles, on speed bumps, driveways, etc. This car is maintaines to a 'T', whatever it wants, I have it done to.. Is it common for the front end to make such a racket? Input appreciated..

mine does that to, i just thought it was the a-fram doing that. i've been mudding but that shouldn't do that.

Mine did it too, but after my front end collision and the front end was replaced it stopped. It's the rubber bushings rubbing in their sockets. Just annoying, not much cause for alarm. You can spray teflon on it, but that is only temp.

Check the upper, lower ball joints, and sway bar end links. Most found their fix here.
