Hello everyone! how are ya? well i decided that ive let the front end get to sloppy! (more like i havent had time/money/tools to do this while at school) so im planning on replacing upper/lower ball joints tie rods and possibly wheel bearings when i go home and get to use dad's tools. I called to ask if ball joints were in stock and the guys asked me if it was a dana 28 or 35 front end on my 91 4wd explorer. i didnt know so i researched... all i could find was that it was a dana 35... is this correct? the numbers on front of the dif are p 157 0 2 and 44607. cant seem to find a thread/site with a straight answer so i figured id ask.

p.s. ive read through some of the forums and gained a basic knowledge of the process of replacing the ball joints but if you guys have any tips thatd be great! aprox. how long does it take?

bearings

I'd do the wheel bearings while you're in there. Cheap and easy to do... just did mine yesterday. One evening (couple of hours) worth of work.
