Front locker install help!!

Okay I am putting in a detroit ez locker and i cant figure out what to do. I have the 1 side gear in and the axle is in with the c clip on. I had to grind the c clip radius down to get the "cap" to fit over it. I put the little washer on that fits on the cap and rests up against the cross pin. There is about 1/8" - 1/4" movement of the axle in and out with the washer and cup installed in it. Is this normal? I cant figure out where any more spacers need to go unless i can find an odd size washer to fit over the axle to fit between the c-clip and side gear. Also since the other side isnt c-clipped does it need that spacer washer or just the "cup". I have to get it back together tomorrow so quick help is appreciated. Thanks.

Okay I figured it out sorta. Called the manufacturer and they told me what to do plus I had to do some creative stuff on my own.
