F-150 Coil Spacers! Do a search and you'll find tons of info about them.

Another option would be to lower the rear to match the front.

Good luck.....

I will be putting on a 2inch or 3inch body lift soon will this help or will it still look lower in the front.

Thanks

It will more than likely stay the same, because the difference is in the suspension and not the frame/body.

Where can i buy new springs to even out the front and how much do they cost.

Thanks

Check the link I posted above.

I looked at the link and did not see any springs for a 1992 2wd ford explorer.

Also when i install a body lift do i have to mess with the automatic shiffter.

I believe that the ranger springs are the same. You may want to contact them. Truckin' Mag did an article a few months back on the 91-94 Ex' and used ProComp springs to address the lower front end.

Do you know what year springs from a ranger they used.

Thanks

Not sure. I will check the article tonight and see if it has any specifics. But in the meantime, you may want to do a search on this site. I know that I have seen it mentioned before.

Did you get a chance to find out what year ford ranger springs will fit

Thanks

seeing that you have a '92 if you have stock springs front and rear they are probably sagging, when I put 2" taller front coils and 2" add-aleafs on my truck the front ended up about 1 1/2-2" higher in the front because of the spring sag (was sitting lower in the front before I swapped the springs in) I ended up with a 2" and 3" add-a-leafs stacked in the rear just to level it back out, so if you are going to lift, get the new springs and try to stay away from the body lifts, they are more of a pain than anything because of the nasty looking gap it will leave with the front and rear bumpers

Oh another option is to look in to the spacer kit sold @ Dead Link Removed :D

just an opinion, but wasnt the explorer designed as a truck? trucks by nature have somewhat of a rake due t the rear needing to carry additional loads..such as in towing or heavy payload

Ummm, which lift? new coils and add-a-leafs or a full out suspension lift? If you are planning to go with a suspension lift be sure to check out other trucks that have been lifted and be sure that your getting the amount of lift you want

Sorry Badboy didnt get back to you sooner. Been outof town. I was mistaken about the springs. The springs and alignment cams are from SuperLift and were purchased at (4 Wheel Parts. In the article they also used Explorer Pro Comp ES 9000s shocks.

If you'd like, I can make you a copy of the article and send it to you. Just let me know.

And this is just a question for those who have lifted their Ex's via suspension. Ic there enough of a "bucket" to use coil spacers w/o the spring sliding out? It seems to me that the taller coil springs would be safer.
